IMPACT Sports, LLC

Expanding the Possibilities of Safer Sports for youth athletics

IMPACT Sports, LLC was born out of a strong desire to keep kids safe. Contact sports are under fire and, at times, rightfully so. Equipment technology is antiquated and unsafe in many cases. We're going to change that. Our design engineers, doctors and board have dedicated the time and resources to making sure you're kids are safer while playing sports. IMPACT Sports LLC is expanding the possibilities of safer sports for our kids.

I have a very special interest in the care of athletes dealing with TBI and have treated children as young as 10 who are dealing with multiple concussions from football fields and hockey rinks around our area. This was the driving force behind our invention and why it is pivotal we fix this issue.

Mr. Alek Taslagyan, Lead Engineer

My Name is Alek Taslagyan. I am originally from Armenia.  I studied at the following universities:

1995-1999 Yerevan Polytechnic University, Armenia. Bachelor's in Civil Engineering.

2006-2010 Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.

My passion is in inventing, designing and building new products. I do enjoy being constantly in a learning mode for new skills. I believe that a true engineer should not be limited to experience (with just a specific part of engineering) but rather strive to be good in all of the aspects of engineering- electrical, mechanical, chemical, materials engineering etc. In this case, one can be more creative, see the whole picture when designing a product and recognize the best possible design solutions.
